Default Need a pulley spacing measurement

Simple to do in just seconds.
Need this power steering pulley to mount bracket measurement.
From the front face of the mount bracket, to the pulley peak. and the rear edge of the belt.
I have 0.75 & 0.85 respectively.
Its a 92 4.0L

I believe the problem I'm having with a squeeky serpentine belt is from this dimension.
Anytime there is moisture in the air, this belt noise becomes crazy loud.
I've replaced belts more times than I can count in the past four years.
You help is appreciated

It's probably your dampener going bad.

I've heard of that too. She's 165K and 23 years old.
Yet if I touch a small wire brush to front facing edge of the belt, the noise disappears immediately.
Engine is void of leaks. Dampener is tight and visually appears in good condition.
Before I swap that I'd like to ensure the PS pulley is running in the same plane with the others.

Mine was "off" for a bit until I replaced my damper. Was causing my serp belt to wander all over the place and squeak.

I suppose it was just me. I've posted this a number of times and not once did anyone come back and say it worked!!>>>

Soaping Belt

Tight, tighter, tightest the darn new belt would still chirp.

Finally in desperation I went out there with a bottle of Dawn dish soap and the garden hose. Idling, I got it wet, then squirt soap on both sides, rinsed some, and soaped a little more. Let it idle a minute all soapy. To end, I ran the hose slow on it running for a couple minutes. Bingo! That solved it. There was some sort of coating on the new belt? Idk.

I normally run my belt as loose as I can, and still have the alternator not slip with the blower on high, and lights on brights. Puts less strain on all the other bearings. Radi pointed out a cool tip. After it might have been slipping, (voltage has been low), see if the Alt. pulley is hot. I want to go back and loosen it a tad now.

Found this info today at a local shop
The measurement is mush easier with the pump removed so if someone can get the measurement in my first post it would be greatly appreciated.

I'd be happy to but I have an '88 and a '97, both are different than your '92.
