Default Need mechanic in Pittsburgh

One of my kids is in Pittsburgh driving a 1999 xj 4.0. It is showing a p0171 code. Can you recommend a local mechanic that could take a look at this?

thank you

I am nowhere near there, but tell him to buy or rent a fuel pressure gauge and check the fuel pressure. And to look for any vacuum leaks. This could be broken lines, cracked hoses, suff like that. Also, ANY mechanic should be able to check that stuff if your kid cant, or doesnt want to mess with it. Should take less than 5 minutes.

Ask him how long its been since its last tuneup. And how old the O2 sensors are. The sensor closest the engine is the main one, but if theyre both old, they may need replaced anyway as they do wear out.
