And the reason I wanted the rear 2" higher was because I was going to buy spacers for the front to even it out so I'd get 2" all around higher

It's a true 6" lift (I measured and confirmed) and it's sitting on 33X12.50X15 Goodyear Wrangler MTR

You think I can get away with using the 2" lift boomerang shackles without any further mods?

These are awesome quality and really cheap... Why spend more money for a name?

You should have an sye at 6" but going higher definitely will make it necesary for an sye.

Maybe new springs will be the cheapest solution. Or get someone who's a good welder to help you relocate the shackle mounts back a bit

I just wanted to point out real quick that a 2" longer shackle does not result in 2" of lift... That said, I'm unsure of terminology enough to be sure that a "2-inch shackle lift" really means 2" more shackle, or more like a 4" longer shackle (or whatever it works out to be) that results in a 2" lift. I'm literal minded, so could someone clarify that for me?

whatever the length, it results in a 2" lift.

Hey guys, I put my JKS boomerang shackles in on Sunday. After PB blasting them all week long the bolts came right out and the whole job took no more than an hour start to finish. While down there I also noticed my rear upper shock bushings were shot and also contributing to the clunking noise so i ordered a set from energy suspension. The leaf springs and shackles no longer hit my frame so thank you for all the help guys! It still rides stiffer than I'd like but beggars can't be choosers right? Hopefully after the shock bushings are replaced the clunk goes away completely.
