Default Need Help- Wacky Turn Signal Malfunction

This is a little dangerous - when the left turn signal is activated.... the left front & right rear blinker are activated. If the right turn signal is activated... both front & rear right blinkers work properly. Has anyone experienced this, or do you have a suggestion for a solution?
How would I troubleshoot this problem? Thanks.
