In Michigan, we paint them kind of a rust color. Everybody does it...it's easy.

Alot of guys around here use rubberized undercoating, prevents rust and looks kinda neat.

Look for vinyl spray paint if you want colors, it lasts quite some time and doesnt crack to easy. Just make sure you prime paint and coat.

Default Painting coils

You could always powder coat them, It will last alot longer than paint.

Easy! Knock the shine out of them with a brillo pad so the paint has some bite and won't peel. and start spraying.
