Before I go and let the parts store guy try and match the o-ring size again I thought you guys on this forum would know the right diameter o-rings for the canister, any help would be appreciated I've included a picture of the canister in question. Just a heads up I've had dye installed and the dye showers up at the canister where the tube go in.

What do you means by "again"? Did you already try to match them up and they still leak?
That's your accumulator by the way.

Yes I took the old o-rings off to match them up however I wasn't sure if they were the right ones they seemed thinner than the original ones but that was with the naked eye. So I thought someone on here would know the exact diameter size o-rings.Originally Posted by weebur

Really no brainer....http://shop.advanceautoparts.com/p/i...Term=ac+o+ring
Is the top of the accumulator messed up? New are only like $20, they usually include new o-rings.

I can not find anything to back this up, right now, but I do seem to remember that when working on A/C, do not use black O-rings. Use either blue or green, the one that freedgr linked should work great. I can't remember it's been about 20yrs since I last went to school on AC, but I think the black ones just don't hold up and you will end up with leaks. Maybe someone can confirm this, or it may just be another, "my bad"...........RR

I believe back was for R12 systems green came along around R134a era . Black kinda went to the way side once green arrived . Which will work with R12 also.
