Unhappy Need Help Locating NOS 1997 Cherokee Sport Decal

I'm in urgent need of a NOS "CHEROKEE" emblem for the front door of a 1997 Sport. The correct part number is 5FJ57CA1 (that's a "one" at the end, not a letter "L").

All Internet sources I've found also show it "No Longer Available," same as the body shop got when ordering parts today (although when estimated, the parts source's database showed everything available).

If anybody has (or knows) of a NOS source somewhere out there that MIGHT have this decal, please contact me or provide contact information for any source you know about. That decal MUST be out there somewhere!

As a last resort, what about sign shops that make decals? Anybody know if they can make a duplicate of the decal on the other door, using a photo and accurate measurements? And if so what kind of quality should I expect? Is it likely the result would be close enough to OEM that only experts could tell the difference?

I would appreciate any information or suggestions anyone has.

Any good sign shop can make it for you.Just call around and send them a picture of the decal.

Thanks -- I'm holding out for a few days in hopes that somebody can hook me up with the original decal, which would just be a lot easier.

But until I saw something in a different thread last night, it never occurred to me that having a repro decal made probably wouldn't be that hard. And your answer is pretty reassuring that the custom-made one would be pretty much indistinguishable from the original.

Thanks again.

You could run with the big dogs by upgrading to a '99+ Dimensional Graphic.

"Cherokee", silver, part number 5GC82CA1AA.

It has to be able to pass a forensic examination for some reason.

Turbo XJ -- thanks for the ebay, but unfortunately (1) it was sold before I got your message and (2) I had already Googled it, and it wasn't the all-caps "CHEROKEE" label for the door of a 1997 Cherokee Sport. The serial number apparently matched, but it was not the correct item -- at least when looked at it before my original post.

Thanks anyway -- and no, it doesn't have to pass a forensic examination

CCKen -- thanks for the link, but the graphic (which I suppose is the decal that I would be purchasing, since the link ends in the same serial number as the one you listed for the item in your message ) is a generic Mopar graphic, not the all-caps "CHEROKEE" label that goes on the door. I need one only, to match the factory original on the other door.
