I remember that little sucker. When mine went bad my jeep would buck violently when I had the gas half way to the floor. I never new a EGR would do all that. LOL

it did? mine does a weird bucking thing above 45 in d if i let off the gas then get back on it. does the same thing in 3rd at like 30-45 then stops

i would be so happy haha, i have been driving it like this for six months switching from drive to 3rd when i get to 45 to try and miss the bucking. i sure hope this solves it

well i plugged the vac line going to it and no more honking and it starts without a high idle and idles alot better seems like i dont have as much problem with big hills but it still bucks. could it be my tranny? the reason i ask is becouse i will be in 3rd on the highway and as soon as i put in drive it does it... back to third smoth with no bucking

you need to remove the EGR and cap the hole it may still be causing a vacuum leak cus the diaphragm is bad

oh ok i just assumed since it wasnt honking anymore that it was just closed bit i will try and make something tonight whn i get home. thanks
