Cleaning Throttle Body and injectors
When I got the rest of the parts needed I got a throttle body gasket. Figured I take it off and clean it up. What chemicals would you guys recommend for a thorough cleaning? Any advice for removing it or while its removed?
Can you take the fuel injectors off and clean them? Would they benefit from anything I could do to them, or just some additive to the gasoline?

Cleaning the throttle body is pretty easy. Remove the throttle body and take the sensors off of it... don't lose the IAC o-ring. Clean the throttle body with throttle-body spray (or carb spray). I use an old toothbrush on the really crusty areas right at the throttle plate apex. Clean the tip of the IAC plunger and the seat where it lives in the throttle body.
Cleaning injectors properly is a job best left to professionals. Honestly it's cheaper to replace them. They can disassemble and clean them, but special seals and pressing-tools are required to disassemble and reassemble them.
