I am thinking of doing the same thing with mine. I already ordered Aussie lockers for both axles and am leaning towards the Rustys lift. I'd also like to hear from anyone who has a Rusty's 3" lift and who does off road a bit to see if they are satisfied.

Rough country. Go to NAXJA and look up Grimusxj. He works there and will give you a nice deal. He really knows his stuff too. I bought shocks from him and I'm quite happy.

the aussie locker simular to lockrite but the aussie has a better spring pin design use one strong spring where the lockrite uses 2 springs in a spring designneo

I have 3.5 RC coils in the front and they sag a good inch or so. I even sent them back for replacements when I first installed them cause I thought they were bad. The second set did the same thing, so I just got 1 inch spacers to make up the difference. It doesnt really bother me too much anymore cause being a little softer, the ride on pavement isnt as harsh.

I really appreciate everyones responses about the Rusty's lift. I think it's the best deal I've seen so far.

Thats pretty much the polar opposite of what I have read. Most people hate everything rusty's. Actually, their springs are supposed to be pretty good but thats it. RC is usually pretty popular in the "bang for the buck" crowd.

Whichever way you do go, try to stay away from blocks or add-a-leafs. Blocks are bad. Period. Don't use them. AAL's will sag quite quickly. Especially if your stock rear springs are sagging. Go full leaf packs if you can. They are by far the best way to go.

Both lifts will be comparable in quality..Rusty's customer service will suck compared to RC and shipping will suck even worse compared to RC. IMHO if you are going cheap go RC cusotmer service is top notch and shipping is definitely fair. Rusty's shipping is highway robbery and customer service with all 3 occasions I dealt with em was sub par. Also you are getting AAL so it's going to suck no matter what.

Yes I will say I am one of the bang for the buck guys! I will pay the few extra buck for new springs and stay clear from add a leafs. Money is tight so I wont be getting OX Lockers, Warn Bumpers, or a Rubicon lift. I'll hope that what I've read and heard during my research is true that Rusty's had quality issues in the past but has since made upgrades.

Now if they would upgrade their shipping prices to be more realistic it might be ok..I mean an 3" AAL lift shipping is $60+ 3" New leaf packs are $110 in shipping..

Now RC... 3" AAL $42.. 3" new leaf packs $65...

I mean are you willing to pay an extra $45???

I think you should just create a list of everything you need for your lift and go on a hunt for all the parts. Thats what I did and saved about $500+ from searching ebay/junkyards/forums. Build a bastard pack for the rear...mine rides better than stock! I did my 4.5" lift for 70 bucks being patient and waiting for parts...then take the $250 or so you just saved and grab some new tires!
