Were you able to find out what was causing the P0545 code? I have the same one on my 98 Cherokee.

Yours makes the third P0545 I've seen posted here.

I've read that it could be the scanner used could be wrong in its programing. Try using a differenct code reader/scanner and see if this code pops up.

Edit: What does show up for this code in various places is the AC clutch relay control circuit. Fuse 10 in the Junction Block (in the passenger foot well) provides power to the AC clutch relay control coil. Use your owner's manual to locate fuse 10.

Clear these codes and recheck the codes. fuse 10 in the JB also powers the AC clutch relay control coil circuit, which may be code P0545.

Clear the codes using a code reader so you see if P0545 went away.

P0443 - evap emission purge solenoid control cir.

Fuse 10 in the JB also powers the Duty Cycle Evap/Purge Solenoid (the gizzy on the left firewall that clicks contantly with the engine runing.)

P0705 - trans range sensor circuit

Fuse 10 also powers the Transmission Range Sensor.

Dang...if fuse 10 blows again you will need to isolate these circuits one at a time by disconnecting them until the fuse stops blowing.
