hi, new to the site and i need some help.

1999 Jeep cherokee sport, inline 6. 4.0L, automatic.

i just replaced the exhaust manifold on the jeep.

the battery died, so i jumped it. when i started the car, it immediately started revving all the way. it seems like someone is stomping the pedal to the floor, but nothing is touching it.

i looked at the throttle body, but it doesn't seem that there is anything pulling on it.

Check to see if you have a vacuum line off. Also look at how the throttle cable is routed that it is not binding

 

i checked and didn't see any binding, i'll go back to check the vacuum lines.
