I am installing the orange mustang injectors out of a 93 mustang. I got new o-rings and pintle caps. My issue is the fact that my injector bosses are straight through. The mustang bosses are counterbored that is there is a lip inside for the pintle caps to sit against. When I first installed the injectors this caused a problem with pintle caps falling off. Since there is no lip for the caps to seat can I run these injectors without the caps?
