Hey guys,

Just sold my TT and bought my first jeep, but it needs a new driver seat. I have a '98 sport. The junkyards over here in te bronx don't have any, so it looks like I'll need someone or a website that does have one. I saw a post on here about some cheap seats, but theyre currently out of stock.. Any other suggestions? Or has anyone put grand cherokee seats in that fit?

What are wrong with the seats? If the bracket isn't broken you can get seats out of any Cherokee and they'll bolt to the XJ seat brackets.

Pull a Parts usually have a ton of them...

The frame is broken and the seat sinks in and back when you sit in it, so I'm assuming the bracket is still good.

 

if tracks good just bolt a new seat to it...

 

Thanks for the quick responses. Has anyone put the grand cherokee seats in? I'm wondering if they fit perfect or if they rub against the doors, etc..

 

grand cherokee seats should be a direct fit IIRC, plus you can get the option of leather and nicer seats
