My non disco d30 does NOT have a breather. What gives?

Right side of the diff housing, under the top fin, hole faces the rear.

when i bought my 88 jeep (8 years ago) it was missing the breather tube as well, and it was so gunked up with crap i couldnt see it.

My first trip out after lifting my cherokee and I yanked the breather tube out, but its still in the diff housing. Where the heck does the other end go? Right now I have it zip tied to some other stuff so it won't drag.

.... well I can't wait to look more and see if its just filled with crap. If that's the case those water crossings probably didnt do it and good :-D

into the cab. its just a breather higher is better. mine goes into the engine bay.

Ok, thanks. Mine is up in the engine bay as well at the moment. I'll just leave it as long as it's not in the way of moving parts I figure it'll be ok.
