Hello everyone. My jeep project is coming along very well at this point. I should have taken pics along the way but didn't have time. I'm in the phase where I need to be looking for brush guards. The main reason I need a brush guard is for a deer deflector. They are thick and I'd rather have the guard take the damage rather than my front end IF I were to hit one. I've looked at some but thought someone might have better ideas or options. I have no issues replacing the front bumper because it has damage and I would like to be able to have a recovery system on the front. Any ideas? I've seen a bumper made by Logan's Metal Products but would like something to cover the front end a little better. Any ideas would be great. Thanks in advance.

Build the lower end out of quarter inch or whatever you can get a hold of and make a stinger setup with downbars for support. If and when you hit a deer it will pull it down instead of pop it up to the windshield.

I got my front winch bumper from from Logans metal products and am very happy with it. Take my advice with a grain of salt, just as others! Most people hardly ever post when things are good but will usually post when things are bad, so who knows how many customers are happy that dont ever speak up?
Best advice, do what you think is best with your money. I went with Logans and am very happy, maybe I was lucky or others that have posted had bad luck?

my plan is to get the logans bumper and add my own tube work to it. but yea if deer is your problem then I would recommend this bumper and add what you need. I havent seen any bad feed back from this company.
I've read some good things about LMP as well. I just have bad luck. Mr. Murphy (Murphy's Law) don't like each other. At this point I don't think I will go with LMP because there isn't enough guard for me protecting the headlights and plastic up front. I'm kind of leaning towards a Warn right now or Warrior products. Still don't know.

like I have said, you can get the logans if thats the style you like and just add your own tube work to protect what your needing to protect.

I have no complaints about LMP. He even threw in free Grade 8 mounting hardware because he felt delivery took too long. I didnt even complain about it.
I appreciate that I could make my own brush guard bars but I'm not that great at fabricating something. I could struggle through it but I want it to look nice.
