NEED AN ANSWER!
Just curious...my 90 xj with the np242...is there a dummy light to indicate when the t-case
Is in 4lo????....it idicates part time and full tme fine...and when those are lit up the t-case is in the indicated range...when I go to N...no light on dash...when I go to 4lo it idicates on the dash that I'm in part time?...but I know its in 4lo...is there a N and 4lo dummy light that should come on?...I took out the t-case range switch and cleaned it...no change...I'm only askn this because my tranny won't shift on its own and I've changed the tcm and tps with another that I know works and still won't shift...and I'm aware the t-case range sensor goes through the nss...wondering if the range sensor is causing the no shift issue before i move on to the nss...any help would be greatly appreciated!...by the way the jeep shifted fine befor...I drove it one day...parked it...went out the next day to drive it and bam...no shifting...just quit outa nowhere!

I think mine just says "4WD" in green on the left side of the dash where the rest of the idiot lights are.
Then again I've yet to really play with it on the regular, so I could be wrong. I do know for sure when in 4 it'll put up the green 4WD.
