I have a 1990 xj Laredo 4.0 In the wire harness that comes from ecu and goes to the alt,dist,oil sending unit. there seems to be an extra mystery to me wire it is green and white and is somewhat isolated from the rest where does it go?? This all started a month ago with a no start assumed new head gasket because of all the oil and weird running conditions. I decided to do a head gasket and that lead to re seat on valves and that lead to a new timing chain dis, coil, cps, cks, icu, ecu because of the grn/wht wire not to mention all the testing indexing new grounds searched the entire harness for faulty connection and followed all the advice I could find now ,m crazy please someone help!!!! It tried to fire but I just got one big back fire.
