Mystery oil leak
It comes in through the ccv breather tube. It's blowby that the CCV system cannot dispose of for whatever reason. Typically the system is restricted or plugged, less typically the rings are so worn it just can't keep up.

Most often it is clogged CCV tubes and orifices. Also, the vacuum fitting on the intake manifold for the CCV supply can get carboned up. Easy enough to check. Pull the hose off and have a look.

Just swapped out a motor that would spray oil mist out the dip stick tube only and coat everything behind it and under the Jeep. Only did it at speed when going uphill and the manifold vacuum dropped. The CCV system was clean and working and no oiling on the air filter.
This motor was very tired, low compression and low manifold vacuum.

I. Am. An. Idiot. My new ccv grommet had a rubber cover on the bottom of the grommet. I didn't remove it so when the intake created the vaccum it pulled that piece up and sealed the hose off. Ccv no worky. I thought about that passed it off and then today I thought to clean out the flutes. I was doing that and decided to look up a pic of a new grommet and saw that it was clear of rubber so I ripped it off and finished cleaning. I put the cover on torqued it down and added the hoses and will test it out tomorrow after a nice degreasing.

No but i did forget to unplug my battery tender once. Had to rewire the outlet.
I have grabbed my compressor threw it into the back of a truck and left to go where I needed. Hit there opened the tailgate and what do ya know, had the hose but no tools and the compressor was empty. Great 20 miles back home.
I got it. My Pcv hose was blocked at the air box by a plug that the po must of put in there. I took that out and now that hose has the vacuum on it and no more oil from my dipstick. I drove it around and not a speck of oil anywhere. Sweet! No more leaks.
