the connector doesn't have anything on it...am I missing something?

 

The LDP is the thing to the right with the vacuum lines. That stray connector is probably for cruise. Its in the right place more or less, and i dont see the cruise servo cable for running past the PDC.

 

I thought that was the evap solenoid...

 

You are right. That is the EVAP purge solenoid. Sorry about that. My mind took a vacation. It doesnt appear that you have an LDP, which would be mounted near the hood hinge. Some had it and some did not, depending on the emissions setup.

It would look like this if you had one.



After seeing that, im questioning my previous response on that stray connector being for the cruise servo. It could be for an LDP as its in just the right spot. Do you see an LDP on your emissions label? If not, you dont have one. Im guessing not as i dont see the holes in the fender to mount it anyway, so it could very well be for the cruise servo.

 

Yeah, I read that bit about only some vehicles having it in the FSM. I didn't know to check the label. I'll do it as soon as I get home. So if I don't have one, how do I go about checking a P1495 code?
