TPS specs say greater than 200 millivolts throttle closed (.2 volts) and alittle less than 4.8 volts throttle open. Your WOT numbers are ~20% less than nominal. If you had the throttle WOT when testing I would think your TPS has failed. I am no expert so I suggest you wait for confirmation.

If it is out of spec per the manual, replace it. They aren't particularly expensive.

Mine is at .79 at idle, and only 2.7 wot. I have tried 3 NEW TPS sensors, I sat in the parking lot of the parts store and tried every one of them they had, plus a buddy of mines spare.

Changed it out with a new aftermarket TPS. Now it runs worse.

Sorry Ice, lots of people have had problems with aftermarket TPS (and other critical sensors) I wish I had warned you about this. Some times it is better to buy OEM Jeep parts.

2x ^^

"Never heard of anyone having problems with aftermarkt sensors"

Really?? Every other thread I see about sensors either the OP had problems with aftermarket sensors or someone will reply about their (bad)experience with aftermarket sensors. Is this empirical or anecdotal evidence and should we belive it? When someone with the credibility of tjwalker says it's so I belive it. Not casting aspersions on your knowledge huntingman, I respect your thoughts too.
