Is my Oil pressure bad....?
So my oil pressure in my jeep after my second cousin did my headgasket, valve grind, and water pump my oil pressure sits at about 75 to 80.... I know thats not normal. Im thinking if its to high something will combust and explode... am i right? Is there any thing i should check? Or am i fine?

Screw the gauge into the hole where the oil pressure sending unit is right above your oil filter. It should have a green wire hooked to it. Turn the car on and check the gauge, then compare it to what you read on the dash gauge. That way you know if your dash is telling the truth.
I had replaced my whole cooling system and all was well, but then it started overheating again according to the gauge. I went and bought another coolant sensor and the car was running at the right temp. The gauge wasnt getting accurate info

High oil pressure readings are often caused by a faulty oil pressure sending unit as xjcrazy mentions.
You mention you have an oil pressure gauge, so if you can find the right fitting for it, definitely verify your oil pressure as it only takes a few minutes.
If you buy a new sending unit, I'd highly recommend you purchase it directly from Jeep for the best reliability/accuracy/mating with your factory gauge. Well worth the extra money; the aftermarket oil pressure sending units are hit and miss in the aftermarket, with a lot of "miss".
