On to my next problem....
From what I understand, water is pretty hard on the friction linings (dissolves the glue that bonds them together, I believe). I did a bit of searching. Here's one article: http://quality-trans.com/wp-content/...1/11/water.pdf

Once when I changed my filter mine slipped really bad and popped into neutral randomly. After a bunch of trouble shooting and other bull**** I found out that the intake boss on the new filter(crappy Chinese one) was a mm or two too short. It wasn't able to suck the fluid up. Just an idea.

Dan91 makes a valid point. Where did you get your filter? What brand?
MOPAR filters from the dealer aren't that expensive. If you don't have a Chrysler dealer around you you may want to use a Wix filter. I think O'reilly has them.
