That's a sweet color XJ above my comment. Just curious as to if that color came stock. I'm sure that's a new coat of paint, though. Cool color.

the 3M eraser works good, it will burn paint if you don't keep it moving.
3M also makes a spray decal remover that works great, but I've never used it on that type of glue. If you use the decal remover. just spray till it's wet let it soak a little respray and use a plastic bondo spreader to scrap it off. you also could try paint reducer. be real careful and don't leave it on to long. It will soften the paint, wash it with soap and water as soon as the glues off.

I just took all the crap off with a sander because i knew i was going to cover it up with the trim after i painted. You could probably find trim like mine in a junk yard.

I've used the 3M eraser wheel to remove the sticky trim stuff off my GMC and they do work great you would have to hold it in one spot for a while to start messing your paint up.

the fender flares, bumpercaps and the trim. and the wind dam thing under the front bumper. I used the bedliner that comes in the spray can. it worked great.

you can also use goo gone and just use a towel to wash it off. that way you dont have to worry about the paint.

Bedliner sounds like the easy thing to do and would look good to. Just use a grinder and dont worry about the paint, then bedliner over it.

I read somewere on here once bedliner = ductape and I agree.

ok guys went and bought the 3M eraser wheel, and well, i gotta say IT WORKED GREAT! It tore through the rough and soft stuff and got almost every bit of it off, The only regret i have about this day now is that it was too dark for pictures by the time i was done. But i will post some up tommorrow.

Here you go, the result of a $40 3M eraser wheel, a razor blade, and 4 hours of my time lol

I recommend this to anyone who has this problem, cause it did absolutely no damage to my paint and I DID IT. that says it all b/c im in no way qualified or should be allowed to mess with a cars paint lol and i did pretty good
