Rear Dent Fixes...and PCV info
Hey! well if you couldnt guess by the title, my jeep had a little run in with a high school female and her inadequate driving skills. I was rear ended not to long ago and was just looking for a way to make this a little more aesthetically pleasing.
I replaced the tail light, as you can see, but I want to make that look atleast...not like that.
My idea. take a piece of sheet metal, crudely pop rivet it on there, then take some expandable foam, spray it behind it, just to have something there, and proceed to unexperiencedly (word?) bondo it to its rightful Jeep glory.
anybody else got any ideas? again...it is a jeep, so i mean...perfection is not required.
Follow up question...
What the heck is this...and where can i get something to replace it!
Thanks for anything. ya'll are always so helpful.

You might be able to beat it out fairly close by taking the rear interior apart. Get it close as you can and use a piece of diamond plate on both corners to make it look like you did it on purpose. Pretty sure that things like this is how diamond plate found it's way into the Jeep world...

haha i like it! whatever i do , ill put the after shots up. The insurance is explained as such. the car was deemed totalled before I bought it, thats why my friend was selling it, so the crunch was outside of my realm of insurance.

Well then I would patch it up like said and call it a day. Its already worth pennys on the dollar due to salvage. Best of luck.

I had a dent much worse than that and my local body guy beat it out, and filled in the rest with filler...he also repainted the whole jeep and best of all, he only charged me 600.00

The thing on the front of your valve cover. That hose leads to your air box, or should lead to your air box. It lets fresh air flow in. Im not sure what its called. I took that thing completely out and just put a filter on there. You can get a cheap crank case filter for like 4 bucks at napa or spend a little more and get one that is a little more "fancy" from advance auto or something.
