My anecdotal oil leak fix
So ever since I put in my new engine, I had some very slight weeping from the rear pass 3 studs in the oil pan. It would drip from those studs... maybe a quarter size every other day. Not too bad, but it was there. I was running Valvoline conv oil 10w30
I switch to Mobile 5000 10w30 conv and 1000 miles later no more leaking from there. Coincidence? I THINK NOT!
So FWIW I'm never using Valvoline oil and sticking with Mobile Super 5000.

I have no idea what you just said, and don't care for another one of 'those' threads, but whatever the reason, it has worked for me. If someone has a minor 'weep' type of leak and/or is using Valvoine dino oil, I would seriously consider switching out to Mobile super 5000 just to see if it clears it up.
