My 97 xj won’t turn over both starte solenoids are clicking helppp ???
i have a 1997 Cherokee sport 4.0l I just drove it about 6 miles today And parked it and now it won’t turn over both starter solenoids in the fuse panels are clicking I can jump the starter solenoid with a wrench and it will start and run fine just not with the switch 🤷🏼*♂️ Idk what’s goin on all my wires seem to be tight please share any info 👍🏻

Test the wire, if it's getting power then pull the starter and take it to your local auto parts store and have them bench test it.
On a 97 it wouldn't be surprising that the starter is bad.

Ok guys appreciate the info I got a wire connected to the small prong on the starter and ran it up and I can touch it to the + terminal and it will start right up correct me if wrong but does the small wire on the starter go to the starter relay under the hood ?
