Default muffler info

I was crawling under the jeep today cuz I thought the muffler sounded different. Found it cracked rusted and broken off the tailpipe, so I did the humain thing of taking a sawzaw to it and cut it off lol. Ima look into putting a glasspack on there but I don't know the dementions of the muffler or what dementions for the glasspack I will need. I left the cat. converter on there if that helps any. Any help would be awesome.

I really don't know the size of the pipe but you can take a tape measure and measure the diameter. My question is how loud is it without the muffler? I have the same problem over here but afraid to cut the muffler off cause im afraid how loud it's gonna get

It's 2.25" pipe. An 18" glass pack sounds pretty good. Mine was loud like that. My dad's XJ has a 30" cherry bomb and it sounds great. A little ricer-ish, but not obnoxiously loud like my straight pipe was

I have had my glasspack on there for awhile now and I love it!! Wish it was louder haha but I'm very happy with the muffler. I also noticed I have more horsepower now and that is always a plus!!!

I have a glass pack on mine I hate how ricer sounding it is at higher rpms doesnt sound bad at idle I guess. I plan on putting the slp loudmouth on mine. They sound pretty good deep rumble but not overly loud.

Glasspacks have great flow, some people like em, they sometimes can be a bit much... its all preference
