Default Mudding damage

Had a little too much fun, haha, destroyed drivers side motor mount, did something aweful to my rear differential seal, warped my drivers side brake rotor, ripped off my antena (don't know how), and other little things.

Did not once get stuck though, a Rubi and a lifted F250 both got stuck, numerous times...

I couldn't help get them out though cause I don't have any recovery points.

Which finally leads to my technical question:

Is a Class 3 receiver sufficient for recovery?
The GTW on it is 6000lbs, tounge weight, 300lbs.

most use it as so. Just make sure you get a proper hook or d ring attachment for it. the "tongue" as they call it isnt meant to be pulled on, the reciever is.

I haven't used mine for recovery or towing yet but it works great for yanking huge bushes out of the yard with a strap and some chain

Haha, yeah, that would have been me this time, I was Bad A enough with just not getting stuck, but I would have been Super Bad A had I been able to recover everyone...

And yeah, I was planning on getting the D Ring hitch.

Now that the rating is settled, what do you all suggest? I don't want to hurt my approach angles too much.

Hidden hitch?

Bummer that it rained that night, washing off most of the mud...

Thinking about it, I think I'm just going to go to a JY and find me an OEM hitch. Those are class 3 right?

Oh yeah! Already been there with mine, so I was gonna see how it turned out with yours and offer the same advice to you... looks like you've got it handled though.
