hello i have a 91 jeep cherokee 2 door on a 3 inch lift on 31's i love this jeep the only thing i have to complain about is the gas milage! i am getting around 15 miles to the gallon and i do alot of daily driving so i was wondering if there is any way to improve the gas milage?

Higher the vehicle - more drag. More drag - mpg goes down. 19 mpg is average for non lifted, stock tires. Any lift, tire mods bring that down. Thats the downside to a jeep. However tune-ups seem to help a bit.

i have a power and comfort switch on my jeep i heard its about the same as overdrive i heard that helps with gas milage i just never got around to usiing it

Actually, there is a difference....
Power raises shift points and doesnt feather the clutches together.
I HATED the way comfort felt/shifted, not to mention the fact that the "comfort" setting is said to wear the clutches faster.
If it wasnt for a dumbass in a camaro I would still be driving my renix, I know what that switch does.

Really man? Im getting 10.9mpg. All stock except for the 235/75/15 tires. Thats mostly city driving but still.

Highway I'd get around 20mpg with my 235s and just a front bumper. never checked later on.
Its my belief that if you are really looking at the gauge that much, you cant afford the car.
But yeah I'd estimate around 18mpg on highway, maybe 15 in the city. as I said i didnt check into it too much.
