Default Moving the front seat back 2". It can be done!!

Scroll to the bottom....Link posted how2

I would like to move the seat back 3-4" from factory position. It's a personal thing. So no need for "I fit..."

I found these
http://www.allthingsjeep.com/mch-jbbtj250x.html

I found only one article showing they fit an XJ. Are the TJ set up the same as the XJ?

Thanks

I would prefer not to drill through if I don't have to. I didn't look, but I don't think OEM is drilled through either?

Looks like they will fit. Ill update the thread once installed.

Manufacture replied to email. They stopped making the XJ's years ago. No market for they she said. Weird, every forum I see someone is asking about them.

But, she said, the TJ will not fit. Different design.

I wish they made them for the XJ. Would make the seating position more comfortable.

Put a call in. The lady said she will put you on a list. If the list gets big enough, they will make a batch.

I am not a fabricator. I would have a shop do it. I did send them the pic and question as well.

Good idea. The more who call, the better.
