Default Mounting stock skid plate

Okay I already posted in the ask a quest thread about it, but i just want to know if anyone else has had this problem or if its just me. We installed a 3 inch ruogh country lift and did everything needed, and i have the sway bar hooked up. Well when we got done, we tried to put the skid plate on, and it hits on the sway bar now. Do i need to space the skid plate down or something, or did we do something wrong?

If the sway bar is hitting the inside of the skid plate then that sounds like your sway bar links are too short
I assume you are still using stock sway bar links

then your links are too short, go to the junk yard and get some longer ones off of the rear of an f-350, that is what me and my buddy did for his
Grand Cherokee links are little longer as well, just make sure they have the bend
my friend ran his stock size ones cuz they kind of fit and he ended up shearing the tops off

not sure mid 90's I would say, but my buddy and I wandered all around the local junk yard and found a lot of other ones that would work just fine way longer than stock, just remember the bend we tried some straight ones and they ripped off on the lower mounts.

you can also get away with making a spacer out of 2x2 to lower the sway bar a bit.
my 5.5 rubicon express kit actually came with a set of their spacers, which is basically just that.
maybe refer to rubicon express's site to copy theirs.

or get yourself a set of adjustable quick disconnects.

The rough country kit, came with sway bar drop brackets to lower it. so thats why the skid plate hits. So do i just need to space the kid plate down?

you probably could, but that may just cause other problems when it's needed.

i would just ditch that slanted front skid and grab a set of jks quick disconnects.
