Ok just started looking into this injector upgrade, cause I'll be going to the JY tomorrow & figure I could pick some neon injectors up cheap!

So is this all I need to look for is a 95-96 2.4L dodge neon? Also will they have the part # (0280155703) on them???

I believe it is actually 95-97 and that is the right model number. They were also in the Cirrus, Sebring, Breeze, and Caravan.

Now I am confused. I read the first 10 pages of this thread and I can't read any more. I have a 01. I want a upgraded injector if available for economy and throttle response. My engine is nearly stock. Which one(s) works if at all. I want to install friday, but a little help would be awesome.

One more stupid question, with the higher flow rate of the xr3z-a4b, is anyone checked to see if that is too much for a mainly stock 4.0? All I have done to mine is a higher flow muffler with that secondary cat cut out(story will be in a new thread) and the IAT sensor in the airbox with a k&n filter for now. I feel retarded, but I want to be right the first time.

Never mind, I will stick with the 19lb/hr

From:
http://www.ausjeepoffroad.com/forum/...ad.php?t=92236

99-01 Cherokee

Stock Jeep injector:
22.5lb/hr@49psi (236cc/min@337KPa)
or 21.4#=225cc @ 43.5PSI
Owners have used Ford 19# XF2E-C4B=204cc@43.5PSI injectors with success, they have the same specification as the #19 ford 280155710 (i.e. 4 hole ev6 style with a nominal working pressure of 39PSI) just with a UScar electrical connector and take clipnuts.

More flow (much closer to the stock injector flow rate than the ford XF2E-C4B) is provided by Bosch #0280155784 (22.5#=238cc@43.5psi), which are the same as the older Neon injectors 0280155703, but with a uscar electrical connector.

Chrysler part # 4669938 from;
DODGE CARAVAN (1998 - 2000)
DODGE NEON (1998 - 1999)
DODGE STRATUS (1998 - 2000)

Another alternative for the stock 99-up 4.0L is the (22.8#=240cc @ 43.5psi) Ford xr3z-a4b (CM4956) which is the newest design and offer even better performance.

if even more flow is required the “1999 only” Taurus/Sable injectors, 0280155849 can be used.

This EV6 injector will flow 265cc/min @ 43.5 PSI, same as the FMS M9593-A302(24 lb) but with USCAR connector so the original injector clips on the loom will plug straight on..

Flow is the similar to the stock injectors, the Ford 700/710 flow less than stock.
Stock injectors are about 22.5 lb/hr and so are xr3z-a4b.
Ford 710 injectors flow 19.5 lb/hr.
