If it is going to be used for any thing that might make it flex alot then frame stiffeners are a definite advantage for you to keep your Jeep from tearing itself apart.

I agree. Figure out what your future plans are, lift, size tires, what kind of wheeling and then you'll know if you need em. If you do alot of 3-wheeling gnarly flexing, it would be wise to stiffen up the frame.

This has always been a big debate. Some say it's never needed cuz their jeep never had any issues, while some tear sheet metal or can't close doors anymore.

Ive road with a guy that had stiffeners and it seamed like it wanted to flop on its side on simple obsticals that ones without stiffeners had no problem with.

I don't have them on mine and don't have any plans on putting them on mine I'm not wanting to see anymore damage than whit it gets sliding off of trees and rocks.

a different rig setup

a little bit of steel welded to the lowest point on your jeep isn't going to make it feel like it's gonna flop.

it's like saying "I got my wife pregnant because I went to work today"
