I wouldn't be jumping on the fuel pump if adding fuel to the throttle body isn't working.

Check for spark at the plugs.

But have you tested the CPS output?

Perhaps a signal isn't getting from the ECU to the ICM?

Have you checked for spark at the plug?

I had the similar problem last week. Altough it didn't seem like the problem, when I changed the battery all my problems are solved. Cranking was not slow as it should be with a weak battery, but my guess is battery was not capable of sending the right amount of current to the sensors and whatnot. Borrow one of your friend's battery and try starting the Jeep with it.

And you should check for camshaft position sensor, too.

CPS is Crankshaft Poisition Sensor. You should also check camshaft position sensor. I think you misunderstood me .

Renix doesn't have one. The sensor in the distributor is just for firing the injectors in the firing order sequence.

Clean out the b+ latch relay, clean contacts on starter relay/ solenoid (whichever is mounted near the battery). That will take care of fuel. Spark, id test your icm Dee if your getting spark off the coil. Also is there any customs wiring work done to this mj?

Well made a little progress i think today. Replaced the fuel pump and changed the cps to a mopar one i pick up from a pull a part (its within spec) and it kinda spits and spuders now then i spray starter juice into the TB and nothing. I put a plug into the coil wire and not seeing any spark. But how did it kinda try to run?
