I have had my stock 1994 Cherokee for about a year and noticed it was slamming when I hit a bump. I put new shocks all around and then noticed that the front bump stops are apparently missing. It just looks like there are cups facing down.
1. Have I ruined my new shocks by slamming them down?
2. How are new bump stops attached? I saw various pictures of pucks with bolts and cylinders of rubber with no apparent attachment.
3. Do I have to take out the springs to install new ones?
