*Under what conditions? Idle, load, all the time?
*Are you having to add antifreeze to the coolant reservoir?
*Exactly what cylinder(s) are misfiring? Post the exact code, not just a description
*Is the check engine light on now? Is it or has it ever been in a "flashing" mode?

1. What brand of plugs are you using? Were they gapped to .035 when installing?
2. You could try swapping the #6 fuel injector to another cylinder, then drive it. If your misfire follows to that new cylinder, you have your culprit.
3. Run a compression test. Can't completely ignore the possibility of something internal. A compression test is really quite easy to perform and is a very good "snapshot in time" on how things are going inside.
