Default Misfire issues from throttle body? Help!

Getting random misfire codes which makes me think it's a TPS, but.... I had an old TPS so I put it in and nothing changed..

I clear the code and start the car, I get a misfire code not blinking though.. When I start driving then it starts blinking and I cannot accelerate over 2900rpms, I hit a sort of rev limited. As soon as I put it in park the blinking stops.

Man this sucks, misfire can be a lot of things. Maybe you can start by checking your spark plugs, wires and distributer cap, and rotor. Which cylinders is it missing on? Move the plug wires its missing on over to other cylinders to see if the missfire moves also.

It does suck, I have a feeling that the TPS I got from autozone was junk out of the box. Going to try to find a good one online.
