So... my ******* buried my 95 cherokee in a 3foot deep hole filled with water. i changed the oil in the trans and the engine, also the spark plugs and wires, and the air filter just to be safe. i let it sit for 3 days to "air out" and then replaced all of the old with new. now my xj is not running correctly. it idles fine but then starts to misfire when you get on the gas at all. the damn thing sounds like a lawnmower and im wondering what the cause could be. any help would be greatly appreciated

 

Cap and rotor replaced? Sensor on the TB?

Bare minimum check the inside of the cap.
