mirror got messed up
Passenger side mirror got wacked by a tree to avoid a head on collision. It bent the metal on the door around where it mounts to and it pushed the mirror backward and up. I did the best I could to push the mirror back into place but that only left me with a gap in between where the mirror is and where the door metal should be. What im asking is, is there any way to bend the part of the door outward (where the mirror mounts to)? I can't really get to it from the inside because the black triangle where the mirror adjuster **** is, is in the way.

I had this happen when I rolled my jeep. no way to fix it with out a nail gun (a sheet metal body working tool). what i did was hammer and flatten the area to where the mirror was as strait as possible and close to stock. tightened the mirror down as best I could then took a clear silicon and sealed the mirror. Just make sure that you clean up really well on the edges. You have to really look at mine to realize it is silicon. on the freeway it works perfect too.
