Default Might need to rebuild my motor???

Ok first and formost, this is my first post, but I've been on here a lot to read everybody's ideas and what not. But anyways I have a 1998 xj. A few weeks back I've decided to do the manifold and injectors upgrade, also do full exhaust. Well something was telling me to pull the valve cover off and check it, so I did. And it looked like it had burnt oil everywhere, so I'm sure if it's on top sure enough it's through the whole block. The jeep never smoked at all. Do y'all think the motor would be hurt. Or is there anyway to clean this up. Or would it just clean itself once I get the jeep back to running. Any info would greatly be appreciated. Thanks.
I'll try and post a picture of it...

no worries man motors get dirty , even more with infrequent oil changes... clean, replace and change oil regularly...

It should be fine if you put some engine clean in it. Here is a picture of what I got into yesterday. Every port and hole was clogged with oil chunks and crap. Oh and it was running just fine before we pulled the head off. Ran like a brand new motor today.

No worries with that. What brand of oil are you using and what oil filter?

you're good to go. Use a wix or Napa Gold filter and just run it.
