I have a 90 xj with the straight six, I have a pacesetter header and the metal tup that went from the bottom of the intake to the exhaust manifold won't reach where its suppose to connect in the header. What has anyone do to fix this, what can I use in place of it. Thanks for any help.
egr tube. somebody used to make like a silicone hose you could use for exhaust i think it was gates. ask a good parts store about it. if they still do you could cut it in half and screw both the ends in and use the hose and some clamps in between. other then that you could measure the distance from port to port and look for a egr tube that was that long. or take the tube to home depot and find some pipe fittings that fit and make something up. good time to get creative. i dont know just a couple of ideas. go phils
