I pulled the valve cover, and distributor. Didnt see much. Im putting it back together now and try not worry myself too much. I doubt its anything thats recently happened. Its been going strong for 6 years without any problems or change in tempo. So chances are theyve been in there since i bought it. And if the motor goes, i guess ill be swapping motors.

After i get it put back together (granted my new gasket doesnt leak) ill put an oil pressure gauge on it and see what im actually getting for oil pressure. If its good ill leave it alone. If not ill be speeding up getting this new motor ready to swap.

Btw if anyone was wondering i use mopar filters.

That feel when my main concern is stopping my oil leaks.
I tell you what though, I am really fighting the urge to get a locker. Only 2wd and just a dd, but the thirst is strong.

Default Flakes..

I have an 06 Cherokee 3.7L. Did the first oil change in it after buying it late last year. (October/November) and noticed a bunch of flakes in it! Not sure if it’s bearings or what! This came out of the oil filter btw!
