Default Messed up Vac bottle and intake/airbox lines

vac line missing

4 line vac canister

Need help on a renix that nobody seems to know a real answer on an other sites forums. Ive got a few lines plugged and missing. My vacuum canister has 2 lines and each end opposed to the "one line" i normally see. I have cruise (that doesn't work) and my hvac is stuck (of course) in defrost since the bottle is out of wack and plugged up wrong. Also--the two nipples on the air box have no vac tubes also and im not sure where they go. Any help would be appreciated!

Go and get some vacuum like especially and replace where needed. I will check my remix in a bit to see which style canister I have.

I would appreciate it whenever you have time.
I got some line I just don't know where they go. I'm thinking about plugging one in, then just capping the other three.

As for the airbox I'm lost, I've seen pictures but I just dont see where they plug in- towards the bottom.

On the side of the TB there, mine just has a metal plug. Maybe the po smeared silicone there to be sure it couldn't leak.

Here's the diagram found in my Sig. It doesn't show the bottle though. Two main things the bottle does is provide constant vacuum for the Cruse, and heater controls. (via the little tubes). The large ones go the vacuum port at the rear of the intake. They "charge" the ball with vacuum when it's high. There are check valves on the ball you can check. Then there is vacuum there when you have your foot in it to control heat and cruz. Since there are two chambers, I'd guess one is for each.

Yer very welcome. When I say I guess one is for each, I mean, the little tube off one end of the bottle does one, Cruse, and the little line off the other does heater flaps. My other 90 only used one end, and didn't have cruse. My newer 90 has cruse, and lines to both ends.

You guys are on the right track for sure.

The red silicone covers the air idle bypass adjustment in the absence of a metal plug. Disregard it at this point.

WHAT? You been holden out on us Cruiser? Do you mean there is a throttle by-pass, other, than the IAC, under that plug? Or that screw adjusts what the IAC has access to?

Pre-set from the factory with a mini welsh plug over it. If it were to be adjusted at the dealership per a TSB, one would put a dab of silicone over the Torx headed bolt. Oooops!!!!!

Are you Welsh? They talk funny to. Gotta wonder then about some of these posters who have tried a bunch if IAC's, and set their plate correctly......there remains another cridder. Do you suppose it bypasses the IAC, or just meters what it gets?

It's a base setting.

Ever hear this?

I was at the bar the other night with my buddy having some beers. We had been there a while when two large girls came up to the bar and ordered some drinks. I noticed when they ordered they both had strong accents so I said ‘Hi, are you two girls from Scotland?’ One of them spoke up, with quite an attitude and said ‘it’s WALES you idiot!!!’

So I immediately said ‘Sorry, are you two Whales from Scotland?’

Share the LAUGHTER!

Huh,,,all vacuum would come from the base. Unless it duplicates what could be done with the stop screw, it would supply the IAC intake port. (just rambling)
