My clutch on the mechanical fan has gone bad and i'm looking for a replacement. Is the clutch rotation reverse or i guess go counter-clockwise? Looking at advance auto parts on line, and the one they have says the rotation is reverse.

Yes it is Reverse rotation. Which actually means it turn in the opposite direction from the motor. Not really wether it is clockwise or counter.

 

If any pulley is not ribbed on a serpentine belt system then it is reverse direction. Ribbed pulleys rotate clockwise, non-ribbed are counter-clockwise.
