Maybe a total noob question??????
My son has a 96 CHEROKEE XJ and has no turn signals. We replaced the hand control on the steering column but no nachos.
I suspect that it is a relay or switch. Possibly the square one below the steering column?
What I would like clarification on is what the functions are of the turn signal relay and if it relates to the turn signal flasher a big round
jobber that mounts onto the bottom of the fuse panel. Are they both needed for left and right basic turn signals?
I'm not sure what they do individually or together is the best way to put it.
His hazard lights flash just fine.
Also according to the schematic of the fuse panel #8 is the slot for turn signal protection but if you pull the fuse there is only gold connectors on the left side. Seems like a problem?
Thank you so very much for any help!!!
