Post Max output?

what is the max hp/torque output of a stock 4.0L?

once you reach the max output what is the best route for internal upgrades price and quality wise?

im trying to build a daily driver that will double as my weekend warrior all input is welcome and thank you in advance

I believe a stock 4.0 is about 190 hp and 235 ft lb.

depends on the year and all these specifics but late model cherokees were 190 to 193 or 195 depending on if it was the police package, updated intake and swapped to coil packs instead of a dizzy. Wikipedia has good info on it

This is my rebuilt block, bored thirty over with all of the bolt ons you see in my signature.

This is obviously to the wheels. The numbers you are seeing above are from the crank. I have heard in different places that to the wheels stock with a few miles can go as low as 90 hp.

The numbers you are getting are to the crank. The numbers you see in the video are to the wheels.

Soooo...
Turbo- ignored
Supercharger-ignored
Stroker-too expensive

You are down to a v8 swap or nitrous.
