Okay so one of the radiator fans, the cigarette lighter, turn signals and the heater / ac do not work at all. I have checked all the fuses and switched around relays. Is there a central electrical thing it could be or other option?

I would start by cleaning all of the grounding points and Not just at the battery but all of them.

I am having a lot of electrical issues, any suggestion as to where I could find a list of the grounding points?

Also, what would you suggest cleaning them with?

They would be. Both battery terminals, Battery to the fender well, oil dip stick, 2 on the coil, rear of the head to the fire wall and the mounting surface between the starter and the engine block. You can use a piece of sand paper or a wire brush. Scrub them until they shine.

OP, did all of the listed items quit working at the same time? Do the windshield wipers and radio work?

Thank you so much, I am going to start with this. I am having turn signal issues, the radio turns off and on while driving and while pushing the window switches, no A/C (No power to the clutch) and no brights. Just did new battery, new alt. and new clock spring.

I have a 1994 Sport as well, similar issue, was driving in the rain, AC,wipers, Turn signal all quit at the same time. Everything else still works, all fuses are good, I will clean grounds and check back as well.

I can't remember when the XJ went from the GM column to Chrysler column. But if it's the old GM style, my money is on the fact that the big brown wire is melted on the ignition switch and the switch is toast.

I cleaned all of the grounds as well. No luck either. Turns out that the turn signals and the brights were a switch under the dash (easy to fix). But still have the radio/window issue and the A/C clutch not getting any power.

I have ordered a haynes repair manual to help me,
however
head lights work both hi and low beam
Hazards flash but no turn signal
wiper fluid pumps work but no wipers
ac heat run but no blower

its almost like one leg on the fuse block has gone bad anyone heard of this?
I am also suspecting the ignition switch- can I get just the switches with wires? or will i need to replace the whole column?

Ignition switch would be the main suspect here . Confirm power in and out of fuses in fuse block with key in run position yet ?

Dude, I know you're new and everything. But all your symptoms point to what I describe in post 10.

Quite common.

It's visible with the naked eye.
