Does anyone make manuel locking front hubs for an XJ. I just think it would help with gas milage without the front end not turning constantly.

 

x2!! manual hubs are way better than vacume or electric hubs, plus lots less to go wrong..just turn the handle

You will never see and MPG gains running lock out hubs. EVER. If you do it will be like a quarter of a mile more per gallon. And if they still cost as much as they use to then It'll take you ten lifetimes to brake even. You know what do it then post in 85 years when you still haven't broke even!

 

i wouldnt be so inclined to purchase at 1100$ for fuel economy purpose... like spending and extra 60 bucks to save 5$...just dosnt make sense. wish they were more reasonable, would much rather have manual locking hubs
