Oh, well.
Here is a pic, the Jeep stayed running the whole time, you can see the exhaust bubbles if you look close.
Later that day my computer got real bad, not sure if water did it or when my winch shorted out about half hour later. I did find water under the silicone potting compund inside the computer.
Notice in this pic, all electrical connectors at the kickpanels are underwater. When I was pulled out, the water sloshed around and got up into the dashboard and interior fuse panel. The doors fill up with water also.

The snorkel keeps the fan belt from slinging water into the intake in this situation.
It also prevents the wave from going into the intake.
My rear axle vent is visible on the left hatch pillar.

My starter survived, but I usually have to get a new on every season.
The seats took a month to dry out, been driving with a trash can liner on my side!
I have a plastic trashbag over the distributer with holes for the wires to come out.
If water splashes drectly on the dist, the warm air inside the cap condenses from the temperature change, the trash bag prevent that.

On my 91 the computer is upnext to theairbox.
the '95 does not have a distributor does it? and the computer is inside, right?

Umm dude, is this a boat ramp?
